    The running backs probably should have been targeted more in the passing game.


    The 2003 Panthers got hot at the perfect time. I might not even put them in the top 5 of best Panther teams.

    They were 8-5 before that cupcake of a December schedule saved them.

    And we struggled hard to beat an awful Cardinals team and an awful Lions team. We would have won the division anyway because we swept New Orleans, but then you would have gotten a formidable Seattle team in the wildcard instead of a flukey Cowboys team with Quincy Carter.
