Why the hate for him? All the press indicates that he's not a worthy successor. How do they know?

Strange. Trusting the judgement of the staff who've left Jake in for about 6 weeks too long as an indicator of moore seems unreasonable. I'd give more to Fox's stubborn loyalty to jake than an indictment of Moore.......

    We'll see.

No reason not to give him a shot now that the season is toast. I do not expect much from him though. His past performances have not shown a lot.

I do not mind keeping him around next year as a back up but we really need an upgrade. If the Skins do not keep Campbell I hope we sign him. He has played pretty well this year if you consider how bad his team is. Failing that Hassleback and Bulger could get cut loose because their teams might draft a QB with their high picks. If you go with one of those guys you need to draft a QB pretty early with the idea he might play sooner rather than later.

What really sucks for Moore, with all the bad characterizations of his ability, is that he has to be rock solid good to win anyone over. Any mistakes will be the death knell.

I no doubt think he should be given a shot but come on...the staff also sucks at developing QBs so you have to take that into account too.

Still wouldn't be a great indication of Moore's abilities given that fact that we nobody to throw too...Smith is small, Moose is slow, Jarrett sucks and our TE's are run blockers

but I remember Dallas wanted to keep him.... still, I haven't seen much in our offensive scheme to think any QB would have success

Yeah, he's pretty much on an island.

With our running threat, a QB who is a legitimate threat to throw opens a whole shitload of possibilities.

I think we ought to let him start a few games. That should let us know if he is any good or not. He should know the offense by now and have no excuses.

I really don't know what everyone's fascination with Jason Campbell is. He is average at best. Certainly not the type of player we need to take the next step, imo.

Folks around Charlotte are enamored with average QBs.
