    The Redskins were sloppy.
It was realistic 1s v/s 1s, so it's not that we overpowered them against backups, other than Portis going out fairly early and Landry was hurt. We started a few backups too, just nothing of that caliber.

The concerns were that despite it looking like dominance, we didn't march up and down on them as much as we made big plays; we could've pass blocked better as a unit, and Portis did have some success on us. They didn't push Cooley on our backup SS out there, so they could've gotten that going.

I hate to doom Zorn, and certainly I never find blowouts to be representative of any average, but it looked like they have a playoff caliber team that's just not ready to play.

It sure was nice to see Peppers play inspired. Him pushing Samuels into Campbell was priceless

I've been calling for Zorn to be an OC for years. So, it was really hard for me to watch that game from that perspective. It wasn't that the Skins were that bad as much as they just looked unprepared.

Beurlien said they looked lackadaisical or something like that. However that can't be possible accoring to most here.

there were some good individual efforts, but lackadaisical would sound about right.

edit - one other thing to note is that we got realistically almost every single bounce in our favor. We got good calls, DW would've scored on a run if he hadn't fumbled, most times that would be picked up by the other team or our luck it'd go out in the endzone.

We didn't march down the field because we didn't have to...

I think in 7 straight possessions, we got TD's while they got 3 & outs...

But I watched the Redskins broadcast on replay, and they were saying the Redskins were getting dominated on both sides of the ball and the score 3-0... at 6-0 they basically were saying the Redskins were getting their ass kicked up and down the field, saying they were a little thin at LB but other than that, the starters we're all on the field.

Last year, they were overachievers, this year, they'll under achieve for their talent.

The Panthers are a good football team with some great talent... how far they go depends on how healthy they can stay.

I'm not crowning them, but I am headed down to Queen City TV & Appliances. today...

You really think that? Becuase that would give the Panthers more points than they had.

Bounces are big, the last couple of years we haven't gotten many. The 8-8 year was particularly unlucky.

Hopefully we didn't use up all of ours in a game that doesn't count.
