Could be, but then they would say 9 Panthers, including . . . They're smart enough to check the roster for marginal players. But you could be right. Crossing our fingers here. BTW, I added a paragraph to my post after you replied to it.

These substances are not illegal. Any health food store and many grocery store with a HF section sell them and alot more. Not to mention the holistic medicine crowd.

I want to know how in the HELL Brun got away with injecting Stanozolol and not getting caught (detected). It is on the banned list that the NFL is looking for when they test these guys.

In articles that I've been reading, they do call Shortt an "alternative medicine" guy. But that still doesn't make it right for these to take the juice.

They don't test during the playoffs. He could've used them and had them out of his system during that period.

In 1991, the Federal Anabolic Control Act was put into effect, definig that "Real Anabolic Steroids shall mean any drug or hormonal substance, chemically and pharmacologically related to testosterone." It also put anabolic steroids on the schedule III of the Controlled Substance Act, making them an illegal substance without a prescription...you can't buy steroids over the counter.

Other alternatives (the ripoffs) have been designed to supply (in theory) the pro-hormones necessary for high testosterone production....this is the crap you can buy over the counter...but a lot of states are banning them as well.

Chris Mortensen will be hosting a chat on this subject on ESPN.com at 3pm. I won't be able to go but some from the board might want to stop by.
