They've both taken teams to the Super Bowl. And just because Fox didn't take a team to the Super Bowl that was picked to go to the Super Bowl doesn't make him a bad coach. It makes all the people picking a bunch of idiots.

It's been a year since they won a home game. I don't think it's assanine to question the coaching.

I'm agree. I just don't think John Fox sucks as a head coach because of that.

They both inherited talent and took it to a SuperBowl. Fox took a team Seifert created and took it a year later to the Super Bowl. Martz took Vermiel's team to the Super Bowl. I guess technically I should say they don't know how to evaluate talent, or whoever was each of their GMs couldn't evaluate talent, but something was/is wrong in both cases. In general it seems to be that each of them have a HUGE problem in being able to adjust from their current style, even if the situation dictates it.

Martz is a fine offensive coach but he doesn't game manage well, he isn't prone to balance, and he completely ignores the other side of the ball. A head coach isn't going to micromanage either side of the ball if he's smart, but Martz is a playcaller and you have to hire a very, very good DC who can essentially co-head coach.
