    i guess your pretty much correct on the noise... but i have the one at home that is pretty quiet.. i'll check when i get back in to see the model #.... the one in my office is kinda loud to me.. but i have it sitting on the desk.

    i have sold 2 of them and they dont complain and they nsit on their desks also..
