Culpepper would have been worth taking a flyer on. He's done well in limited action over the last few years, on really crappy teams, and he's a nice fit for us. I think his little tantrum before Thanksgiving last year probably sealed his fate, though.

If we have first and goal at the four and do not trust our running game enough to at least give it a shot or two then we are doomed. We are built to run the ball. All those good games Moore had last year were games when we run the ball well.

    Agree 100%

I also think today we will see a HUGE dose of the running game. Tampa is no match for it and the D will step up.

i think i heard them say the last 4 games... the Panthers have avg 240+ ypg with 6.0 ypc

I don't see that happening today... with virtually no threat to pass

most teams wouldn't run from there in a 0-0 game or even ahead. Most teams really don't start running 2-3 times from there, or further than the 2.

We probably would've, had the run worked better or had we not been down by as much.

I'm finished with him. He rarely shows any poise or spark. Just looks like a lost puppy. I'm ready to see more of Clausen. If he needs to be pulled, then I'm ready to see Pike. I understand that's not likely to happen, but just saying.
