It appears the three most shittiest teams don't have a qb issue or at least have invested to the point they won't take Leinart. It will be hard to trade the 1 if everyone knows you don't want Leinart anyway.

Anyone up for a mock draft?:woot:

With McAllister gone, the Saints could end up with the first pick.

Anything would be better than Brooks.

Are you saying Brooks is done? If I were Leinart I would pull a Eli.

And yes, the Saints were one of the three.

I don't know. The Saints have talent, and San Antonio is relatively nice. And yes, Brooks is definitely done. I think he's at the end of his contract anyway, but even if not, his ass is hitting the unemployment line.

Minnesota and Baltimore just have to turn it around. It seems inevitable.

Houston will get the 1 and Dom will get the boot. But they're not gonna take Leinart. If Arizona can squeeze into that top 3 and get him I do believe they just might finally look like a pro team.

I'd rather play for the Saints anyday over the Cardinals

I could see a new coach taking Leinart. It's possible. They need a new QB for a fresh start, and obviously they need some linemen, but you don't just throw a first rounder at it, IMO. Besides, they need a couple vets first. They have a good back, so it won't be Bush.

Miami needs one, but they're winning too much to be in the race, of course.
AZ could take him, but McCown isn't looking decent just because he's throwing at Gamble.

Baltimore might pull it out, but Minnesota won't, IMO. Surviving Moss is hard, but surviving both Moss and Linehan is brutal. Tice isn't an offensive mind, and his OC's a line coach, too. They can't stick with a back, either, and whoever takes over will probably gut them all. Minnesota might be a good place for Bush, maybe. Knee-jerk idea might be to take a wideout, but no one's going to be worth that top 5, IMO>

Plus McCown might actually be better until they get a line that offers decent protection. Moreover, it's not exactly as if Boldin and Fitzgerald need precise passes to be effective.
