the ravens should have at least been able to match the offer, if that's what it came down to.

I'm just completely dumbfounded by the whole Marvin Lewis thing. Looked like he was a shoe-in in Tampa until they came out and said, "We don't know who we want, but it's ain't him." Then he was a shoe-in in Washington, but then last night, "Nope, I love the Ravens, I'm stickin' with them." Now today, "Might as well sign with the Skins." You think it has anything to do with hte new uniforms?

He saw the writting on the wall and hauled ass to greener pastures. The Ravens are about $20 million over the cap and most of their higher paid guys are on defense, Wouldn't want to tarnish that rep coaching lesser players now would he?
