    They really can't honestly answer the question because they'll be cut out of the loop, then maybe re-assigned. IMO anyway.

    I'd really like to know what the deal was with the Peppers strategery. Particularly where JR stood on franchising and trying to keep him.

    I don't like Hurney running the show if he's not a conduit between scouting and coaching. If he's in control that's more worrisome. Of course there's also the idea that JR ruins this team once evey five years or so himself.

    But demanding this now? We know he had a heavy hand with coaching - JR only met one coach, and we knew Hurney would stay. This would be a December 2010 article. I don't think they fail to craft stories to appease fans' want to be agreed with.
    But they're lazy. They write the same stories without being in the same room. They aren't knowledgeable, something Fox ragged them for. I know the new offense, fairly well really. This isn't my job. So just by being interested, am I more prepared than they are? It doesn't make me "right", but it can't fucking hurt.

    You can't really expect them to be open minded when you accuse them of 'fraternal loyalty' and tell them they suck at their jobs in the first 100 or so words. It might be true, but that's not a way to get them to engage in any meaningful dialogue with you.
