A bit of questionable math in ESPN's pre-race graphic....

    500 miles
    263 Laps

    (Martinsville - .526 mile track)

I just can't get thrilled over watching cars driving slower than the traffic in I-40.

Had fun. Weather was perfect. Traffice getting in sucked even though we got to Martinsville at 10:30. One hour to go 45 miles. One hour to go the last two.

Amazed to see 80% of the crowd wearing 88 stuff. Of course my son was one of them. I'm a Mark Martin fan so when he hit the wall and ripped off his back bumper I figured I might as well pull for Jr too. The place went off the hook when Jr took the lead about half way. Led about a 100 laps and finished 7th - pretty good for him.

Was glad Harvick lost - mainly because of the dumbass redneck woman that wouldn't shut up the whole day. Amazing run by Martin to get back to second. He came out of nowhere. Pretty clean race today. Bowyer hitting the wall in front of us sounded like a bomb going off.

Loud as shit. Basically sounds like a 747 taking off every 30 seconds.

And for all the Jr fans - they love them some Denny Hamlin up there
