Most teams in the league would kill to have a superstar on each side of the ball to build around. We have a centerpiece on both offense and defense so all we have to do is get a good enough supporting cast. On offense if we can run the ball and on defense if we can limit the number of big plays in the passing game we should be a playoff team or better.

I could give a shit about how many superstars we have. I do care about:

    a. Each position perfoming well, in harmony.
    b. Wins

That's all I want to see.

The preseason was just a smoke screen to lull our opponents into a false sense of security.... yeah thats it.... they`ll never know what hit`em.:loveit:

But wouldn't it be nice to be able to count on winning more than a few without resorting to a sneak attack?

No one is saying 1-15, but denying that the preseason was worrisome or that the team has issues is just being a purposeless homer. This team could be very good if things come together quickly, but it could also easily be mediocre if they don't.

just got through reading Sorenson's take on the Disturber website. He's saying 6-10. I'm not saying they'll go 1-15 again, but given the schedule they could be pretty much out of the running before the bye if things don't go well early.

I don't think the schedule is that tough. We obviously need a winning record in the division, but the other games aren't that bad. Houston, Indy, San Fran, Seattle, and Dallas here are all winnable, although Indy and Dallas will be tough. I'm not optimistic about St. Louis, but Arizona, Tennessee, Green Bay, and Jacksonville isn't a killer road schedule. I'd probably pick Jax to win that contest, but our chances would be pretty good depending upon injuries and how they affect the run defense.
