Actually they can. Any player with the football is allowed to slide and avoid contact, but they're considered down at the spot where they begin the slide.

On the flip side, I thought we caught a couple of breaks on a couple of PI's. It normally evens out over the course of a game or season.

Fox chewed the refs' asses pretty good yesterday so they probably did give us a few breaks after that. :ylsuper:

then do it back. I never got why teams didn't give the teams that do this their own medicine. All you see is people bitch about denver doing it, but maybe if they got some season ending injuries of their own, they'd see why teams hate the cheap shit.

And what's up with Lee Torrance? He's the one who hit Smith on the punt and was flagged for interfering with the catch and he was in near fights with Panthers on almost every single ST play. He was acting like Cooper (sorry CGF) on SUPER ROIDS - in other words way out Coopering Coop. Hankton is usually the peace maker on ST and he was all up in Torrance's face at one point - guess who gave Hankton a hug and walked him off the field - our once combative STEVE SMITH!! But Torrance was being an ass.

They reminded me of the Niners in 96 with all that crap. Like they were going to intimidate us or something.
