Lost - The Final Season

Good Ben. Not so sure I like that.

 

Bingo - looks like it's NOT over - I just watched last night's episode. I'm gonna go look and see how many more are left and decide whether to watch the ones I missed now, or just wait til the season is over and watch them all at once.

 

Nine episodes left.

 

Guess I'll watch the previous 3 I missed today. I have nothing else to do.

 

Not so fast.

Think he is there to get the fake Locke and his fLocke off the Island.

 

I think she's one of the candidates, they just cut her out of the cave scene. There are six candidates still alive on the island, according to that bodyguard chic. Jack, Hurley, Sawyer, Sayid, either Kim or Sun, and Kate.


And I think there is one potential difference about Kate in the sideways version of her. She told Claire that she was innocent. So if you believe her, she didn't kill her step dad, although she is still wanted for her murder.

 

How they're gonna wrap up all this confusion in 8 more episodes is beyond me.

 

except that locke was one of the candidates. he was number 4. that leaves only 5 "important" numbers left. i think the others were all seen in the cave with the corresponding number from the list of numbers.

it seems odd to associate a special number with these special candidates and then have "normal" numbers for all the other candidates. it seems like a pointless exercise -- like here is the list of candidates who will survive to the end as designated by the magic numbers. oh, and here's the other candidates who won't -- meaning they're really not candidates at all since you seem to know they have no significance.

now, what would make sense is a name with a lot of different numbers next to it -- like somebody was trying to figure out which candidate was which number.

yeah, the sideways stuff seems to have a lot of differences. in fact, for the most part people seem to be happier in the sideways version. so basically, are we to believe that jacob orchestrated misery to land these people on the island? seems like most of the people of importance were not in a good way when they crashed.


oh, and speaking of differences in the sideways version... so sawyer is a cop? didn't he let kate go when she was in the elevator with him and clearly in handcuffs? wtf was that about? altho, maybe it would have been hard for him to explain why he was there since he was lying about where he was. still, he seemed to actually help her rather than just pretend he wasn't there... weird.

 

we'll see how they deliver on the promise of explaining richard next week. so far, it really seems like they're not providing answers so much as simply re-introducing plot points and connecting some loose ends from before.

 

The whole Sawyer being a cop thing was a surprise. It appears he is playing the two sides against each other. Was it fLocke that killed those people on the other island?
