the whole "infected" thing with sayid seems to be harkening back to russeau's "infected" bretheren. i don't think it's jacob, as that seems counter to his implied nature. plus they said claire is infected as well and sure as shit, we see her ass again so it can't be as simple as a single person occupying the body. i suspect it's something else that won't really be explained very well.

in tonight's episode, it was interesting to see the numbers make a return, but i gotta wonder about the other numbers associated with the other names. the implication that these 6 numbers/names have been key this whole time kinda makes everybody else irrelevant even tho they were treated as being highly relevant. seems kinda like they're just trying to justify things or tie into something that was a loose end.

speaking of loose ends, i wonder how they're going to tie walt into all of this or if they're going to simply pretend that story line never happened.

i'm trying to figure out how this alternate universe thing works, too. it seems like they changed more than just the future (from 1977 onward). indeed, it seems like the island has been completely removed from existence. if jacob was the motivator to getting people onto the island, then i suppose it would make some sense that without his influence those people would not end up there -- but it also seems kinda silly that they WOULD all end up in the same plane still (or at least, mostly).

i suspect any answers they finally reveal are going to be a letdown.

It's about balance, light versus dark, yin/yang, so on so forth. The white rock and black rock on the scales in the cave seemed to be a little heavy handed but still cool.

What's that got to do with her being bat ass crazy? She evidently knows the evil Locke so maybe that has something to do with it. I'm catching up with LOST as I was out of the country and missed the first couple of episodes this season.

Yeah I got that part. I've been having to watch both espidodes each Tuesday night to figure out what the hell is happening. Was wondering why Claire would think those people had Aaron and why should would be so mad if Kate had Aaron. Evidently she's loco due to bad Locke.

How did Claire get infected? I thought you had to die and come back to life to get "infected."

Richard said that the dark guy who took over Locke's body wanted to kill everyone on the island, but why?

This season has been one big disappointment; and confusing!l!

But I give the actress who plays Claire credit- she plays crazy really well!
