Do you know when the next game is without having to consult a schedule? Could you find out on the internet or your favorite sports news channel?

All the kids are on MySpace.

That is the draw of it. You never know when a game will break out. Of course we have our 'favorites' when it comes to guarding the can. I think one of my neighbors is trying to produce a 'program' where we can keep up with key stats on all the players.

We have been a little concerned lately, seems some Dads from the next street have been scouting our kids.

So something in your neighborhood is a big deal but it's not widely covered or publicized. Very interesting.

It's unfair to discuss compare the relative levels of coverage as anything close to being similar, because well, duh, they aren't.

Why would you be comparing two relatively niche sports with arguably the second most popular sport in the US today? I'm not sensitive because there is nothing to be sensitive about. You see, it's very easy to get plenty of coverage on the sport without having to try very hard at all.

Posting a rebutal <> getting snippy.

Why? What's unfair about it? People choose not to cover the sport the way they do the most popular sports. That seems perfectly in line to me. I don't care about NASCAR, but it's covered more.

The thing that was taken to me was "for all sports." I disagreed. Is soccer a sport? Does it fall under a major sport?

It's not easy to get coverage. I don't care about getting it, but I don't care about NASCAR, and I know a number of things going on.

trying to tell me I'm not much of a sports fan? Sure, you're not being sensitive. Telling me that "saying there's not much coverage" = "a jab"? Come on.

The reason it's not that big a deal is that his fans can root for him just the same with the same sponsor. If his dad was still alive or if he left Chevy I could see how it might be a huge shit. When it was announced it got some action on WFNZ in terms of callers but it wasn't that substantial.
