I fucking hate having to talk about it now. I wasn't ready to deal with this now, but it's here. No turning back.

So what do we do at WR?

Do you bet on Nicks rebounding from a horrendous season? I personally think he will. He's not a #1 but he's a starting caliber player. Don't think he will be out of our price range. I don't think anyone is high on LaFell either, so I anticipate some sort short term team friendly deal. Work out something with Ginn, and that's not a bad trio of receivers to compliment Olsen. I'm also going to guess that Hixon will re-sign another vet min type deal, but I don't count on him being a starter.

I don't want to draft a receiver at 28 just for the sake of drafting one at 28. I want to draft the best player available there. If it happens to be WR, great. I feel like the value will be better after round one.

What are you thoughts on this problem we've created?

Its all on which injury prone potential you risk the money on hicks was never overly explosive so he may already be shot, Holmes is a POS in the locker room, Britt is hurt and an arrest in waiting... danario Alexander can buy you 7 games, I'm all for Sidney rice. Jacoby ford should get a look as a returner and had some big plays. While I'm pimping Oakland they seem utterly disinterested in keeping talent so you could throw a pick them for denarius Moore. James Jones is up and down but good when he's on. Buffalo might also give up Stevie johnson for a price.

Sorry for the stream of consciousness post.

I've seen enough highs and lows over the past 18 years, 75% of these emotions driven by factors yet to be determined.

It stings as a fan. And it sucks from a production perspective. I have never given a shit about him being an undeniable prick. That's who he is, and he did grow up a bit.

Gettleman is tasked with mopping Marty's watery shit off the books. Was there any good reason to say anything about Smith at the combine? No. It was actually fucking stupid as shit.

On the whole, I do like Gettleman's approach and I do believe he will continue to build a consistently competitive team, one that should eventually make it back to the bowl game.

Smith made his mark. His performances over the years are the fucking stuff of legends.

2001: Returns opening kickoff for TD...on his first career touch.
2002: Blew a load in Dick LaBeau's bleeding anus.
2003: GW score vs Tampa. Still my best memory at the Bank.
    2004: Well, shit.
2005: Triple Crown, and fucking funny as shit.
    2006: TD catch @ Washington - christ.
    2007: Caught a touchdown from Vinny T.
2008: Fucking Bull Mode. (See: GB/NO games)
    2009: Rules/Regulations/Benny Sapp
    2010: He didn't kill anyone.
2011: Roman Harper's late hit. 89 gets up, spins the rock, and calmly proceeds to take Malcom Jenkins to the turf for his cucking.
2012: TD grab vs Oakland was tidy.
2013: Cucked his 2nd Jenkins in 3 years. That playoff TD grab was gorgeous. Fucked Joe Philbin over, which always works for me. Used Aqib Talib's mouth as a taint cleaner, instructs him to ice up his vagina on national primetime TV, undoubtedly costing the young man a few million bucks next year. 89 went out in style.

    I'll miss that fucking beast.

Sign Nicks, a better lead-blocker at FB (so Mike can spend more time being the bull), and please: do whatever you must to hogmolly-up this inept run blocking offensive line.

Do that, win 12 games, advance.....and I'll personally order each of you authentic #89 Buccaneer jerseys.

If we retain Ted Ginn, it would be fucking decent.

Rivera imitating Ralph Cramden's humina humina, was a nice touch.

I hate the hell out of this but am far more worried about the OL than the WR corps to tell the truth.

Not that the Wr corps looks like anything other than a huge clusterfuck. Counting on Nicks to be the #1 is a frightening prospect (but I'm not convinced that is the plan, though it may be the best hope we have.).

First and foremost. Gettleman you fucking blew this. I get why Smiths contract was too big for his age and production. I am not one of the fans that says you have to keep him as he is a leader yadda yadda. The Patriots have been waiving older players for years and they've seem to do ok. They could have easily gone to Steve and said here's the deal. "We love you, but the contract is too high for us." Like little bitches they went through the media

Antagonizing Smith just so Gettleman could prove his alpha dogness was pointless and makes me angry. I've always held Smith's behavior against him, but this disrupts the team for no obvious benefit. And the shitty thing is, bad feelings will keep Smith away from any Panthers event attempting to honor him for at least a few years if not indefinitely.

Yeah, although at least Favre gave them a reason. Steve didn't do anything to deserve this.
