    I like Speedy's in Lexington a lot.

I'm also a big fan of Little Richards.

Folks, just got back from my trip...We stopped at "Lexington BBQ" located off 29/64/70 just before hanging a right going back towards Mocksville.

As was stated on here, it is a popular place especially the older folk. We got there about 11:30 and got a quick meal. Not a big fan of red slaw and I had diet drink. I used to crave sweet tea but I can't stand the taste anymore. The one good thing about that style is that you don't have to crave extra sauce. The vinegar flavor is enough for my taste.

Again, I'm sure this wasn't the best in Lexington but I can now say that I have tried that style.

I don't understand how it can be called BBQ if it doesn't have the vinegar base. Everything else is just pork, albeit good, but not BBQ. Even the SC style mustard base has a vinegary taste.

I'll give the BBQ itself "thumbs up"...what I'm just saying is that there may be even better Lexington style at one of the other places. I've had red slaw at some places here in the west, so I knew going in that I wouldn't like it.
