    Is the next level a fourth ACL tear? and what does that have to do with the cap?

    What's sad is I want to see Thomas Davis do good. He busts his butt when he's on the field. He seems to keep good spirits when things like this take him down a notch, and he's a fighter.

    But at the same time I worry about him on my team of choice because I don't know what he can give the team if he's out after half a year. If he's resigned I'd make it mostly about incentives.

    Hard not to like TD, he's done everything right but stay healthy. And tried like hell to do that.

    No, he isn't. He always posted shit that was dumb and wrong, he was just more active than the other guys at the Observer. Why isn't he pointing out that cutting Thomas Davis would only save the Panthers $500k against the 2012 cap? People naturally assume that columnists and the people who work in the NFL know what they're doing, otherwise they wouldn't have their positions. I think most of you have realized by now that having those jobs doesn't mean you actually know shit, and that some random message board poster (like me) can be infinitely more knowledgeable.
