    Canty is really more of a 3-4 end.


    Long doesn't look that great to me in this game. I've seen him spend a lot of time in space looking for someone to block. The lack of athleticism concerns me somewhat.

    Also, I'd much rather have Arrington than Manningham.

    You guys are great. I was really enjoying watching that Michigan team play and thinking how great it would be for the Panthers to pick up some of those guys.

    I saw that game...Gholsten was beating everybody on Michigan's O-line (he was moving around and coming from different places), and he was doing it with speed and power...it was impressive.

    Jake Long was not overly impressive, and he may be a little overrated, but you can see that he can play in the NFL once he refines his technique a little bit. He has plenty of room to bulk up without it adversly affecting him too.

    I didn't watch much of the second half, but what I saw of Baker against Illinois was not at all impressive.

    I've been pushing Owen Schmitt as the ideal successor to Brad Hoover for a while now. Anybody who watched the Fiesta Bowl game tonight probably got a good look at why.

    I would love to see him as a Panther. I'll be shocked if it happens, though.

    13. Michael Oher OT Miss ( I think Oher is better suited for tackle in the NFL and I like him better than Baker or Clady in a zone blocking scheme)
