Trade down to the 18 range and get one of the tackles, get a bust in the 2nd to keep with tradition.

I would like to take Kenny Phillips but he is gone by our pick on this list.

    1. Sam Baker
    2. Jeff Otah (Gross and Wharton are gone)

    1 - Sam Baker T USC
    2 - Jeff Otah T Pitt

He won't be here, so this is pointless. Obviously one moves inside to guard, probably Otah, who from what I read (never seen him play) isn't as quick.

3 - John David Booty QB USC

Once again, yeah right. He stock dropped cause he was hurt most of last season.

I'm curious why NO ONE seems to think we should spend some first day pick on a QB. Are you guys THAT certain that Jake will return and be 100% for the next few years, and that Matt Moore is a stud in the wings? Seems we need to draft some prospect, maybe not first round, but have someone in the wings in case all hell breaks loose, as it did this year. I never want to see this kind of piss poor offense again, and right now, we have just a dearth of talent at O-line (which is why I picked offensive lineman first and second round) and at QB. Second or third round pick should be a QB that we can develop.

    How about this scenerio

I trade Peppers to Saint Louis for their number one pick, #2 overall. I let Wharton and Gross walk.

    1 Jake Long
    1a. Kenny Phillips
    2. Jeff Otah
    3. Chris Ellis

With the cap space I just saved I sign Terrell Suggs to boost the pass rush.
