    Serious question, Barry. How do you squeeze dopamine out of the same songs you have been listening to for 40+ years? I wish I had that skill. It would be so much easier than always have to find something new.

    Music is weird.

    In my youth, I was a rocker, pure and simple. No R&B, no disco, no country, no pop and certainly no classical.

    Decades later, I still like certain rock artists, but have gravitated to the blues, old country and even a touch of bluegrass.

    Still hate pop, don't even recognize it as music. If it is done on computers, I don't care for it.

    I’m old enough to remember when the synthesizer and drum machines killed music. Now my nephew makes money rapping on YouTube with 100% computer generated music.

    I chortle every time I see a music reaction youtube from some genx'r and they always claim they have heard a certain tune.
    By the end of the video they are always chin rubbing that they had noooo idea that was the original song where the tune was stole from.
    I mean sampled from...

    It's still true that underestimate the intelligence of our fellow citizens.
