    Same panel as the higher priced Sony XBR series. Pretty much the best widely available consumer LCD on the market, BUT, the LED backlit panels are coming soon and will supposedly be a huge step forward in terms of contrast (and at least $1k more price).

    Damn nice TV though. And cheap from Butterfly Photo & Beach Camera.

    I betcha the warehouses are dumping these to begin carrying the higher margin LED panels.

    That is what has me wondering if I should wait for a price drop... Or should I get it now, at this price, while they're still available. Decisions, decisions....

    Two years ago I would of laughed at that... now I'm drinking the koolaid. I'm about to add another hdtv in the bedroom and im getting a 37" vizio.
