    Yea I've googled lawn striping as that's where I got the PVC pipe idea.

    NOT walking on the stripe would be a pain in the ass though I guess.

    I don't 'stripe' mine, but I do verticut it one way this week and the other way the next week. You can see lines from both directions for the first day or two after I cut it.

    I do that also, varying the cutting pattern helps the grass. At least that's what I've read/been told.
