    The coaches need to make sure Jake is aware of those situations in the huddle. If he would have told DW "get the first, then go down", it probably would have happened. That run was beautiful though.

    And if the endzone hadn't been right in front of him, he probably would have. Football players are conditioned to go for six. Yes, the heady play would have been to fall down. And if he had been at the 50 yard line, I bet he does.

    It is awfully easy to say fall down, but I imagine most anyone in that situation goes for the endzone. Besides, it made it a two score game under two minutes. If it had been a one point game, the issue is more important.
