    When he broke free for the first down, I was celebrating, but when he scored I think I threw something against the wall. I got some funny looks for that.

    generally speaking, a score that puts you up a minimum of 14 is fairly safe. It's not 100% rock solid, but sure.

    I was so focused on that getting us to three hundred yards it took me a while to realize going down was the better option. I am putting it under no harm no foul, and lesson learned the easy way.

    I imagine he saw the endzone and instinct took over. When you have the option of going for six in the heat of the moment, it's hard to think fall down and run out the clock.
