Key didn't get off the jam. Did the contact last beyond 5 yards? Yeah, maybe 6 or 7, but he knew where the ball was going, needed to beat the jam and get an outside release. Instead he allowed the CB to outmuscle him and force him inside.

5/10 times that's called for the illegal contact. But these guys let 'em play.

    The rest is history.

PS - worst call was the obvious offensive PI on the first long pass to Stallworth where he stiff-armed Richard Marshall while making a great catch. Just because he makes a great catch doesn't mean you don't call the penalty.

PPS - when are we going to learn NOT to fucking hit the QB in the head on 3rd and long. Goddam Thomas Davis should know better. Don't lead with your head. Jump up, not at him.

IMO, if Key doesn't jump (and jump really early, FWIW), we get PI or contact or whatever they felt like calling that.

or hell, if he just follows the route or plays the ball, that's a TD 70% of the time.

And that is Davis' 2nd helmet hit to the QB this year, at least. He does need to learn.

    run him over

key shoulda kept on going and went through lito and they were have most definitely been a pass interference call more than likely as long as key was looking back for the ball..

That's fine and cool and all but what about the one that lead to the game-winning FG?

That one was absolutely Jake's fault.

The second one was not, and if Keyshawn makes that play, he has 4 TD's in one night.

Letting two or three games get away in a season could easily just be unlucky for the most part . . . Having it happen FIVE times is the sign of a significant problem(s)
What's F'd up is that with four more games it is likely to happen even more before the season is over.
How many times in one season does it NEED to happen before some type of significant change(s) is officially called for?

To me, the last INT was on Key. Had he just followed through, and not jumped early, he would be right where Sheppard was when he made the pick. If not a TD, an INC.

I liked the call, though we certainly couldve run it. We had time outs.

I think KJ lost his momentum on the jam, and couldnt get restarted running. Hence he decided to jump. Maybe.

Even though Key could have had it if he had not got jammed, I still think that was a high risk throw on 1st down with plenty of time. Not sure whether that's Jake's or Henning's fault.

at crucial moments in the 4th quarter this year Jake continues to throw passes that end up in the other teams hands . . . without researching every pick I would have to put the blame on jake at this point
