i guess pantherfna will just have that be his board. i'm serious -- there's nobody but him looking at it.

i'm going to tell charles and pat (and the other writers where we've moved to). they do enjoy reading the good comments. i can't tell you how many times they'd email me about posts they read.

So, p2k1f, are your comments implying that people such as I who have not posted on the old board for months due to the dropoff in quality posters are not welcome on the "new" boards?

Depends... did you suck and give out stupid ass opinions before??? Then you are one of THEM... if you can come up with REASONABLE (<--- key word) discussion, then welcome aboard

I'd like to think that I don't "suck", and as for my opinions, I'm sure certain people may find them to be "stupid-ass", but I think that may be something that posters from the old board who may or may not recall me can judge. If you are asking if I like to attack other peoples opinions with no apparent justification, do I enjoy adding a racial element to threads when none is needed, do I know little or nothing about the game of football, I would have to say the answer to these questions, and others along the same line of reasoning would have to be no. I am not as old to these boards as people such as piper and p2k, but I came along before, shall we say, the "tidal wave of idiocy", which has since driven me from posting on said board and finding others. Ironically, it was JamesKB's post which prompted me to check this place out, and if that horrifies you, so be it. I do think you have a good thing going here with this board, and if I am not welcome, I will respect that. I only wish some of the element that p2k has in mind would respect Charlotte.com in much the same manner.

I didn't say anything about you or anyone in particular, and if i've hurt you by implying there's a lot of crap on charlotte.com, i don't know what to say. You pretty much said the same thing in your post. I didn't say it's all crap. My point of this thread was that I didn't think the moderator here, or members wanted this site advertised to everyone on that other board. Nothing personal to anyone, just, and this is just my opinion and guess at the group feeling, trying to avoid what's going on there and not letting this site turn into that. I'm still pretty much a newbie here. I'm looking forward to the season because this is where i think the guys are who know the most about the game. I'm not one of them, and nobody kills me for asking questions. Questions are much better than people pretending they know more than they do, which i might do with politics, but not football, and i find the other sight full of that type of thing. that's my opinion, you're here, welcome, don't pass it out, be a positive force in the quality of this board. check out the other forums (AT YOUR OWN RISK). they can be very addictive KEEP YOUR SKIN THICK AND YOUR HEART IN YOUR CHEST!
