    I doubt he got fired. I think it's more likely that the fourth quarter collapse last night was the last straw for him.

    The Yahoo NBA guy with the long Wojo name is saying on his twitter that Paul Silas is the leading candidate to take over. That wouldn't be too bad, I don't guess. Patrick Ewing and Mike Brown are also candidates according to this guy, which would be less not too bad.

    Silas would make the most sense if they are going to have someone by tomorrow. lives here, said its they only job he would want again. plus he watches this team(heard interviews) and has a pretty good idea of the mess he is about to step into vs the others. I dont know how in the hell you throw all new asst coaches together in a few days if they are gone

    Silas is my favorite Charlotte coach of all time, I would love to see him coach. I desperately wanted him to be our first coach but he was still in Cleveland.

    This situation is shitty though. But long-time Hornets fans remember Silas cleaning up a similar mess when Cowens stepped down right before the season started. Of course that team had a lot more talent than we currently have, but Silas is a steadying influence and is respected around the league.
