Laptop to Car Deck Infrared

    I was in a friend's truck as he was showing a few of us a DVD he was playing on his laptop. He was holding the laptop somewhat near his CD deck and the soundtrack from the laptop was coming through the truck's speakers. There was no wire connecting them, so I'm assuming the laptop's infrared port was transmitting to the deck, but I'm not sure if the deck has to have an adaptor or something special about it to do this. Anyone know anything about what, if anything, it takes to get this to work?

    No sadic, you cannot play p0rn on your car's nav screen using a laptop. Sorry.

    You can find an FM transmitter at radio shack/best buy etc that you plug into the headphone port of a portable audio play or the speaker output of your laptop. Tune your radio to 88.5 or whatever it calls for and you're in business.

    See how easy it is to give useful information, bro?
