    IMHO... If you're looking to get a laptop to use as a desktop, then why not just get a desktop? They are a butt-load cheaper.

    Don't get me wrong. Laptops are great... if you need one. Otherwise, I would stick with a Desktop. If it's room you're looking for, then you can spend some of the money you saved on a nice Flat-panel monitor.
