That is not too bad. I assume he will be a starter...

Looks like a smart signing. Think this will be one that we'll revisit in a year and thank Hurney for a job well done.

Diggs is as tall as we go

Seward is our only guy above 240

our first round picks were 6', 6'1

well, I'm expecting that we'd take care of MLB depth, but certainly, going to your 3rd LB and him being out of place isn't a good situation. I'm assuming now that Diggs would just back up all 3 and that Johnson would slide inside if necessary, which shouldn't really be the biggest concern now that we have a guy who's made out of football player instead of china.

    Aren't most linebackers 6'1?

    Pretty sure average is 6'3.
We just tend toward small LBs. I don't know why this is being challenged. It's not a big deal, it's not something that we schematically look for, but we have smaller guys.

Thats a nice read on the Beangals site. Good to hear he was one of the few that managed to stay out of trouble in Cincy too. Appears to be a good locker room guy too. Surpised by the contract number too with all thats been coming out lately. Nice move there Hurney.
