    potential new GM candidate. No request for interview yet, but interest has been shown. I'd assume that means Accorsi has contacted him to see about interest, or some other outreach to see if Dawson would come interview.

    Ross is a minority too, so I wouldn't bet on this being Rooney.

    I don't mind him as an option. He has some qualities Ross has, and a similar but shorter background to Gettleman.

    I remember Dawson from his playing days. He's 41 years old and with your timeline his career was short and got some breaks and made the best of them
