    Our old house had a door leading to the kitchen because it's an entirely different area from the dining room. It was a swinging door, though, making it easier for bringing in platters of food and stuff.

    I grew up in a house that had a swinging type door that went from the kitchen to the dining room, or from the dining room to the kitchen depending whichever direction you were going. It was always kept open. :hungry:

    Even i have a door in my kitchen as we have a separate kitchen. The door is not the swinging one but we keep it open always. :2thumbsup:

    I loved your project on kitchen.I loved the light coming from window. Loved the floor which gives a contrast effect to the walls.
