Any word on Kemo? I'm more concerned with that and the loss of Vincent.

you weren't concerned with Manning's home rating and said that "Manning knows how to play in this weather" ...but he has a 57 QBrating at home, and 48 when its below 40, so I guess relevance is depending on who's saying what.

Manning plays in the wind all the time. Are you going to argue that too?

You are so rediculously fucking sensitive about Delhomme it's sad.

and that was a point I brought up above. To go through the Carolina Panthers and not talk about our run offense or whether we can answer the bell on run defense is pretty fucking critical, a lot more than whether our QB is decent or awesome. [collin]or fucking disgusting[/collin]

The stats are there. You can choose to ignore them, and it looks like you just did, but Manning's been shit in the cold and poor at home. Find a way to argue stats and then say stats don't matter. Plus, I didn't bring up Delhomme in the post, now did I?

Please just don't even mention "intangibles" to me. It falls into the same lump as people insisting that PASSION! wins NFL games. I deal in facts, not superstition, and the fact is that Jake played fine during the 2003 playoff run but he was not in any way, shape, or form the main reason that the Panthers won games. He did almost nothing against Philadelphia (which, as I said, is certainly better than hurting your team), and he hadn't made an impact against St. Louis until Steve Smith took a short slant pass for a touchdown.

Actually Jake's one big playoff performance besides the Super Bowl was at Chicago in 2005 when he really did play a major part in the team's victory. Of course, he then sucked ass the following week in Seattle.
