What the actual fuck? Dalton trade time, but for what?

 

Pickett, 27, was the Las Vegas Raiders' backup behind starter Geno Smith last season. Pickett appeared in six games and made two starts. He totaled 188 passing yards, a touchdown and a pair of interceptions. Pickett had a completion rate of 62.2% and a QBR of 3.4.

 

Probably do as well as Dalton who is close to 40.

He is very mobile, but also has some issues for sure.

As long as we have a trade working for Dalton, then it is probably just a younger Dalton you have now

 

That's unfair to how good young Dalton was . Young Dalton was regularly putting up double digit wins and 3000 yard seasons.

This is a signing you make when you don't want competition for Bryce.

 

If Dalton stays he'll be #3 QB and player coach. He looked completely annoyed by having to start a game last year. It reminded me of Rodney Peete dodging garbage time snaps in '04. Some of these vet backups get too comfortable being backups.



Pickett probably isn't the NFL's next great reclamation project but they had to add someone.

 

I really hope he didn't get much guaranteed money

 

It sounds like he's making virtually nothing, at least in terms of the modern QB market. Maybe he's just here to put Dalton on notice.

 

I wonder how many booger jokes he had to endure growing up.

 

The guitar is all that could have saved him, but not sure he could handle the frets correct with the small hands
