All this said - Hasselbeck knows Lucas, too. Wash.

I read an article that said they used Lucas' Ipod to back up the playbook in case Ranier erupted and the practice facility was engulfed in lahar. I wonder if he still has it or if he has upgraded.

Hasselbeck knows Lucas well enough not to throw at him, I'm expecting.

But yeah, Lucas will help Gamble prepare for his matchup, and that'll be helpful. He should know Engram and Jackson well. Gamble excels when he grasps.

'course, the offensive playbook is just a traditional WCO book. In the late 90s, the SF book, the Denver book, the GB book were still the same book. The defensive book was still the one Seifert had written in the 80s. It's not really helpful to have that, and as noted they'll get that type stuff from pro scouting anyway.

11 players might know Lucas, but he's just 1

    Lucas might know 11

    I think it's huge...

I am soooo glad we signed this guy. He might be my favorite FA. I hope he showes up against his old mates as much as Draft, I really think Draft was a huge part of our first game against the Vics.

Odd thing is that Seattle fans still don't think he's that good. Of course, I imagine the players disagree.

I know you said still, but it probably has alot to do with him no longer being a hawk...ala Grant.

No, a lot of Seattle fans actually argued that they were better off getting rid of Lucas. I thought they were insane, but they felt he gave up too much cushion and wasn't physical enough. So much for that idea.
