    It's frustrating, but this is who he was at FSU. I'll look for the quote later, but I warned people who always complained about LaFell drops that KB wasn't going to make them very happy either.

    And this may be the biggest grievance I have with Gettleman dumping Smitty. They want Cam to be the leader, but not sure Cam has the intense desire to be the best he can be. Smitty would have gotten in Benjamin's face and push him until his work ethic improved. I can't see Cam getting in anyone's face and I don't think our coaching staff will either. Every team needs someone whether a coach or player who can get in your face if needed.

    The difference is that Smith has peaked. Benjamin has the potential to get even better. I really think Philly Brown is our dark horse. The guy has good hands, decent speed and seems to make plays. Solid upgrade over Lafell if he can stay on the field.

    Guys with really bad hands usually don't develop really good hands. He is what he is. He's a good compliment to an offense, but he's not a true go-to guy. That would be Greg Olsen.
