    I never thought I would be pimping Kelly Clarkson because I really don't like her music, but that girl can sing.

    This Patty Griffin song she sang on American Idol gave me chills. She has a Carol King quality and although she's already a star, she needs to take this style of music all the way to the bank.

    Who cares if she can sing. The only thing that show proves is there are thousands of quality singers out there, but none of them have an ounce of creativity. I'd rather listen to Bob Dylan.

    Exceptional range and tone and I was impressed, just sayin....
    Not fair mentioning Bob Dylan, he's a legend as a writer, not so much with his voice, just my opinion.

    Point being, Bob Dylan would never have made it through auditions and has more talent in his pinky than all seasons added together with a sober Paula Abdul.

    yeah, most of what I listen to, wouldn't fit in Idol and the people I like wouldn't make it anywhere in Idol. That's why Idol can suck a big fat dick and die in a fire.

    But someone has to cover Rod Stewart songs for a movie, and I'm glad it's not someone I like.
