I mentioned this topic in an earlier thread. It's a 12 team league keeping three players. I kept Addai, Stephen Jackson and Randy Moss. I couldn't budge the owner with Steve Smith to trade me him for Portis and Moss so I go into the draft (drafting 3rd) with the following players available. Need some opinions.
    QBs available
    Mark Bulger
    Donavan McNabb
    Jon Kitna
    Eli Manning
    Alex Smith
    Matt Hasselbeck
    Matt Leinart
    Jake Delhomme
    JP Losman
    Brett Favre
    Phillip Rivers
    WR available
    Lee Evans
    Donald Driver
    Javon Walker
    Roy Williams
    Anquan Boldin
    Larry Fitzgerald
    TJ Houshmandzadeh
    RB Available
    Chester Taylor
    Fred Taylor
    Marion Barber
    Warrick Dunn
    Clinton Portis

I'd love McNabb but Larry Fitzgerald would be sweet. The teams drafting ahead of me 1 has a Drew Brees, Edgerin James and Travis Henry so he could easily go WR. the next team has Thomlinson, Alge Crumpler and Reggie Wayne. One team could take the WR I want while the other the QB. Opinions?

Only 5 teams kept QBs as keepers so if I want McNabb, Bulger, Hasselbeck or Romo I would need to grab him 3rd or wait until the next round and take a Leinart or Delhomme type

What is your scoring system and roster set-up?

They give 1 point per 10 yards receiving and rushing, 1 point per 25 yard passing

What about rosters? Any flex positions?

With that scoring set-up, I don't see much reason to chase a QB early. There isn't an enormous amount of difference between the 6th best guy and the 12th best guy, so you could theoretically wait quite a few rounds before taking one. The WRs look best, and once those are gone you can stock up on RBs. I wish I was in a keeper league just because I'd want to own Adrian Peterson.

I don't know which of those WRs I'd like the best, but you're guaranteed a good one. You seem to be favoring Fitzgerald, but I'm not sure I wouldn't prefer Roy Williams. Either of those two, Boldin, Evans, or Javon Walker would be attractive.

You have to start 1 QB, and either (2 RB 2 WR) or (1 RB and 3 WR) a TE, K, def/SPT

Hrm, that devalues WRs a bit and means it's not quite as important to have backup RBs, but I'd still go with one of those wide receivers first.
