it's a combination of things. Some people left, but population on it has been around the same. It's the fact that it's loaded with fake/virus files and those with real stuff mostly hit the option to not share files. The network is dying though, slowly.

Me, I've been using edonkey for the past few years.

The last time I tried to connect it had some sort of connection prevention something or other on it. I didn't try to pursue it. It's just not worth it to me.

well, I've seen it described as, "a lot like driving a 1999 Ford Explorer with Firestone tires on a slick road." It's just not a great program and has been the RIAA's program of choice for a while now. You can do what you want with kazaa, but I'd take it off the computer if I were you..

Morpheus now has one that connect edonky, gnutella and kazaa together. So far it still has problems connecting to kazaa (fastrack). It also come bundled with a lot of crap.
