That would be 18 years with the Panthers if he finishes the contract. Pretty amazing.

Fuck it, give him a statue.

When Kasay Retires, will he be remembered for his contributions to this team, or his shanked kick off in the superbowl that gave tom Brady a short field to work with…

He's won a lot more games than he's lost. I'll always remember him for his contributions. The OB kickoff hurt, but it was one game (granted, the biggest game) and we probably wouldn't have gotten to that game without him.

Plus, we should have fucking stopped them on defense. Not many people remember that New England had a 2nd and 20 on that last drive.

If they make it back to the Super Bowl between now and then, the kickoff will become a nonissue.

That's been my thoughts, too, and the reason why I've never piled on to the "it's Kasay's fault we lost the Super Bowl" bandwagon.

yeah, i'd say the odds they get burned for that kinda roster management arent great in one particular year, but as a long term strategy, its pretty risky. Now if Lloyd could also punt, then...

I admit that the Super Bowl is the first thing I think about in regards to Kasay.

I will think about the Tampa game in 2003. All those FG's he nailed, including the 40+ yarder in OT, while Fagmattica was getting shit ripped up all over the field.
