    Most teams start with 9. With injuries, sometimes teams will bump up to 10, or if they have some versatility with their backups, 8.

    We have always started the season with 9, every season. So someone is getting cut.

    And in the Fox era we only activate 7.

    Butler would be inactive and maybe Hangartner since Hartwig could slide back over if Kalil went down. I think we keep all ten but if someone does get cut it is likely Montgomery or maybe even Mathis. Of course Butler has never seen the field and could be given up on if he does not show something in camp.
