    consult a doctor. And stop messing with it.

    BTW, I fixed your links. While you're at it, maybe that link to 2005's drafted players is overdue to be changed.

    That is wishful thinking, but I like him a lot. Obviously I have been McClover's biggest backer, but getting Johnson in the third was an absolute steal. Between the two of them, I feel very confident about RDE for the next couple of years.

    now, sure. But it's just a link to Yahoo's Carolina Portal.

    Actually come to think of it, that is a good link to videos.

    Watching the Beason video, you can see he's explosive. I still don't believe anything extremely special, but it's not like witherspoon was, and I believe Beason is better than that. Physical for his size, he judges the run and slashes in the way that Davis should and sometimes does;

    Of course, highlight videos aren't a cross section of a player's play, and this is more entertaining than anything, but for anyone who hasn't spent time bothering to watch Beason (I have no idea how anyone who bothers to watch the draft can't be bothered to catch at least a FSU/Miami game, or comparable, every year), this is a good start.

    I still want him weakside, but I'll take him wherever.

    Jarrett, of course, doesn't look explosive on tape even with a short, slower corner in a lot of his frames. He's going to have to work for every ball, which means that either he's going to have a slump right off or he's going to initially succeed, teams will adjust, and then he'll slump. But he's quality, and we know that. He's still money at the sideline, though that's a place Delhomme's struggled a little bit in the past - the 12-17 yard sideline plays, which if I remember right was where a lot of his INTs came in 2005 (I wish there was a good breakdown of that, because I know more of his came deep than were really necessary, though neither situation is a matter of arm strength), and it's also a place where NFL DBs will be able to break on Jarrett's misdirection the most. so who knows - he might have to do a lot more working inside than out unless he's playing outside a slot (or an effective TE). That works out, if they're planning on moving Smith around more, and Jarrett makes for a solid X end. He'll also be very solid after the catch, and bigger WRs have been successful in this program.

    it's really easy to scout him, and this is pretty representative of his college work. Despite the ego, he's a guy who looks to work hard, sacrifice, and seems to make the most of things. Whether he becomes a solid posession or a star is hard to say, but he should be a player.

    you watch any of that CJ Wilson?

    It's true what you say about it's just entertaining to watch the highlites, but he seems to make the hard INT's and he gets excellent position to get the ball by becoming the receiver...almost Manning Jr like, but with better size...I'm sure there's plenty of film on him getting beat too..but damn for a 7th round pick, he could make the team

    Most of the Kalil and Johnson tape looks the same - Kalil, at that level, did have the push to turn a DT when he was on one, and had the ability to block at the second level (both combo blocking and just cutting pursuit) very well. Johnson's essentially just like Rucker, and I'm glad Rucker will be around to teach him. He'll get a lot of his sacks in coverage, but he'll still earn them, and if he doesn't succeed like Peppers, people will under rate him just as people have really under rated Rucker in the last few years.

    Robinson's tape was really fun, though. And it's easy to forget he was as talented a receiver on the field as he is, for a return prospect. He doesn't have Smitty's natural gifts, but he's got a lot of that in him.

    still working my way down, so I'm watching through the bottom few now.

    I'll say it again, Rosario just looks like a John Fox guy (though the Charles Johnson and Mike Rucker types, useful as they are, never get labeled Fox guys because they do produce). Of course, Mike Seidman looked the part in college and Senior Bowl, too - Seidman being a little more stiff and slow, but still very able before the first knee injury. But Rosario does look like a natural receiver. He looks the part of the role I was always hoping Goings or Hoover could do more effectively, the space-finding big man who could get just enough RAC to spread a first down another few yards, a guy who can let you dink and dunk without having to spread 4-yard completions together all the time. He doesn't have the RB background as much, so maybe he can more effectively H-back than they could, though neither really took that role on often either. of course, nowhere in there did I get any idea of his blocking.

    Shaw could be an effective fill-in weakside if Beason is inside; I still don't think he has the SLB type mentality but he could be enough there as well. Either way, he looks like a solid outside guy in a non-eagled role - coming on contain, coming on rush type situations, and might be fun if we were trying some interesting nickel situations (but probably won't, and there are better guys to play that role). Anyway, he looks fun in space and does have some burst and fire. He looks like the nondescript type player who could fill any of the 3-4 or 4-3 LB spots, not be an especially good fit for any of them, but play hard and do his best with any of them.

    Wilson does adjust to the ball well, and I'll take him as a 4th CB for a late round pick. I don't know if he'll adjust to safety well or not, but he's developable, stays with his guy for the most part, and if he doesn't mug a brother, he'll have a good shot at the ball. He looks the type of guy who'd give Jarrett some fits. But I don't know if he has closing speed, if he can defend the deeper ball (definitely still an issue even as a zone safety), or if he can play the C3 man-type principles at corner well enough to sell the man type coverage or to close on the ball from behind at safety.
