Labor Day Weekend 2005, Wrigley Field, on DVD.

Watched it last nite. OMG, what a show, & what a party! He is so joyous when he performs, & he projects that joy all around him. He's the only artist I'd actually stand in line for 2 days to get tickets to see. :ylsuper:

Agree! Went and saw him last year at the Charlotte Coliseum, great performance, even though everybody tells me he's better outdoors. So much energy and a great performer. He also played for 3 hours! If you like his live stuff, there is a CD called "Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays", which is a compilation of live performances. That is the only Buffet CD I listen to now. Definately one of my favorite singers.

Whenever he comes to this area again, I'll be there. :D Even his chatter between songs is great fun. I loved the shots of the crowd. Everything from babies to folks in their 60s, maybe older. And everyone looked like they were having a great time.

Saw him at Verizon last spring. RAINED like an SOB from the beginning to the end. I had LAWN seats and those were HARD to get. Finally just stood there getting soaked and partying. Still had a good time even though I was FREEZING.
NEVER miss him when he comes to NC. But the Coliseum sucks as far as accomidations. TWO outhouses doesn't cut it for a BUFFET crowd in the parking lot.

I was there. Great experience even with the rain. Girls in white T-shirts in a cold rain :xyzthumbs

I was at the Coliseum show, ended it with Scarlet Begonias from the Grateful Dead. Killer.

He did that one at Wrigley, too, near the end of the show. He ended it with Arlo Guthrie's "City of New Orleans."
