Don't be scared- you can do it :REDanceBanana008: A skillsaw is easier to make a cut with than a jigsaw- just make sure you have a sharp blade.

Instead of a screw driver I'd use a drill :9:

dont try to cut your lumber with a jig saw plu. all yer gonna do is make a bunch of squiggly, crooked looking cuts. if you're dead set against a circular saw, go to the tool section at lowes, they have some super sharp hand saw's that will cut through a 2x4 in no time. you might want to clamp on a straight edge if you cannot follow a straight line though. as for the plywood, the jig saw will work but you'll need to practice on some scrap til you get you swagger on. it aint as easy as you might think....and buy a pack of blades while yer at it. do like melon said and use the drill instead of a screw driver.

    I'm lost...
She's probably still working on the cut along the length of the plywood with her jigsaw.

For 2x4s, yes. For plywood, no.

I haven't started yet. I started working in the kitchen on some stuff and got all involved in that.

I do not have one single non essential item in my junk drawer. :woohoo:

I found 3 tape measures that I'm sure I will need in the garage project.

Ace, the garage door code is 1234 if you want to come get started when we're not home. *cough
