Held up. I was pleased. We might have somebody in that guy.

Anybody notice anything in particular? He seemed particularly strong run blocking, but i haven't rewatched and wouldn't pause to watch again.

He was all over Foster after that TD.

Played a lot better. Maybe he took a dump before the game and could get out of his stance a little quicker.

I noticed in particular that he wasnt a problem. He made a nice block on that TD run. They ran to that side plenty, so I'm guessing he did pretty good.

326 lb guy that also plays guard, and started at RT after being here for like a week.

Either we have NOTHING, or the staff found a great player. Last week when he started i saw it as a sign of total desperation - and maybe it was - but he played Grant well, and we ran VERY well. I think they signed him and he immediately impressed, earning the start.

When's the last time he even played Tackle?

he didn't seem to play Grant that much in the passing game. About half the time, he was helping Mathis and they were doubling Grant with two secondary blockers. I don't think that's on Mathis or anything, it just rotates the center free to help on the other guy or take the middle blitz (which Hangartner should've done on that blitz sack).

He seems to be a good run blocker. He didn't make mistakes. That's about what we were hoping for.

I'm looking at the game now and he's not standing out as a run blocker at all. I'm just glad he didn't give up any sacks.

    One sack all day (LB-Shanle)

Charles Grant and Will Smith combined for 2 tackles and 2 assists. If Hollis Thomas wasn't absolutely owned, he sure wasn't doing his part.

I like the fact that Bridges has some size. That is something we tend to lack. If we get Hartwig back we get decent on the OL.
