I do not see the huge cost. Jenkins goes, Lewis starts. We have to find some depth but that is not a horrible scenario.

    yeah.
You mean Jamison? Then yes I think he is EFRA

    We should keep Curry.

I remember people bitching about that.

I'm only going to explain this once

Kris Jenkins is better than Damione Lewis.

Jamison is about as small as you can get for that position, but he was a very disruptive gunner last year, despite not having many tackles. I think he's a keeper.

Agreed but not a whole lot better. Jenkins and Kemo duplicate one another. Lewis bring something different. I think it might actually work better if Lewis starts. I would rather pair him with Jenkins but if we can get a guy like Vilma for him then it is a net gain.

I wouldn't trade for Vilma straight up- make the Jets throw in draft pick. I wouldn't hate it as badly then but we'd come out a little better.

We get worse at DT to get a little better at WLB for 6-8 games

it'd be different if we were getting better at DE, G, or (uh oh) FS, but we're fine at LB and won't get better by making rush worse.

We also lose Jenkins' runstopping, thats where I'm more worried.

I think the pass rush might improve with Lewis as a starter. You are assuming Vilma will only play 6-8 games? If I thought that would happen I would not want the trade either.
