Jenkins wants a new contract, what a f'n joke. hes played 1 out of the last 3 years. hes now a distraction. Fox just had a talk with him what 3 weeks ago? voluntary or not everyone else managed to show. you would think he would be eager to play this year but I guess not. fat-ass waste of talent :munching_out:

no he's Damien Lewis agent. And said he wan'ts Lewis to get starter pay because Jenkins might be traded. He's sticking his nose where it doesn't belong.

I think he should get a new contract. Vet minimum plus a ton of incentives -- just like Morgan. :cheer:

    His agent
This isn't a new issue. If anything, the request for a new contract prompted the trade stories, probably to help determine the market.

Gantt's most recent article is about Jenks' situation.

Down the page, what I found most interesting:

It might (big MIGHT) help his cause a bit more if he had shown up at the earlier practice sessions in the best shape ever. Basically now he's saying he wants more money but he's still not putting anymore effort into football. And the majority of football folks were STUNNED that Jenks made the Pro Bowl because most agreed he was no where near the old Jenkins last year. He was out of football for most of two seasons and then pretty much a good but average player last year - not strong arguments for deserving more money. Come in buff, play your ass off this season and next year you break the bank.
