Ain't too shabby. Wouldn't mind seeing us spend a draft pick on this guy. Except for one poor throw, he looks really sharp facing the #3 defense in the country. Good size, good arm, really accurate.

Now magnus can tell me I'm full of shit. :)

That ain't going to happen. Forget his drug bust last year? One MSU pothead on the roster is the limit.

I liked Smoker as a freshman.
He made one poor throw, but he's really been low on the turnover margin overall. A very solid prospect who someone can make into what they want. A somewhat generic starting caliber quarterback with a little baggage but great value, I'm sure, because of his baggage as well.

If he's over his drug thing, and he'd have to be, I like him. Even Willie can get one right now and again :p paranoid

with that said, I also have liked what I've seen of Navarre this season. Similar guy who hasn't had a ton of problems in his career, got a little blame for Michigan not being perfect over that time, but they've been less talented the last couple years. I usually don't buy into opinions as to whether or not "player x" is a winner in the pros, or whether that turns over from college.

Fuck that. If the man needs to rock the ganja every now and then to give him a fresh perspective, I'm cool wit it.

    Smokers digits:
    35/55 351 yards 2 TD's

also 2 INT's, only one of which was his fault.

against the #3 defense in the country.

with NO running game AT ALL.

Might not be a problem for you, but to JR and the league it is.

Being a UVA fan and a Panther fan, I would love to see the Panthers draft Schaub. Makes accurate throws, can throw 50 times a game, even though we'll never do that, and can make the deep throw as well, when needed.

Werd. But ain't Schaub projected in the 2nd round? No way this team spends that high a pick on a QB, whether we need it or not.
